User agreement

This agreement is between you and Coinbase and governs your use of our website, apps and services. By opening an account you accept these terms.

You must be at least 18, resident in a supported country and complete identity verification before using the services.

Privacy policy

We process personal data to provide our services, meet legal obligations such as anti-money-laundering rules, keep your account secure and, with your consent, for marketing.

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to certain processing, by contacting our Data Protection Officer at privacy@Coinbase.example.

Data retention

We keep identity and transaction records for the period required by law, typically five years after the end of the relationship, and delete or anonymise other data when it is no longer needed.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with our service, contact support. If we can't resolve your complaint within 15 business days, you may escalate it to the competent authority or ombudsman in your country.

Licences and registrations

Coinbase is authorised as a crypto-asset service provider. Replace this sentence with your authorising authority, licence number and registered address.
